A leading multinational food and agriculture company needed to maintain a sales force deployed across Honduras's main cities, serving different channels and points of sale.
Through our Employer of Record (EOR) model, RPC manages the employment relationship for more than 150 employees, letting the client focus on directing its commercial strategy, its brands, and its market execution.
This is an example of sales force outsourcing through EOR — in some markets this model is also known as a PEO (Professional Employer Organization). RPC takes on employment administration; the client retains full control of its commercial strategy.
The Challenge
Being present where the purchase decision happens
In consumer goods, selling doesn't end when the product reaches the channel. Execution at the point of sale requires people who are present, know the product, and can follow up on its availability, display, and rotation.
The client's operation spans traditional markets, wholesalers, and supermarkets, distributed across different cities in the country.
The challenge was having a structure capable of deploying and sustaining a nationwide sales force, without the labor complexity of managing 150+ employees diverting resources from the client's core business.
Our Role
RPC manages the workforce. The client directs the commercial strategy.
As Employer of Record, RPC provides the employment structure that lets the client operate and scale its commercial teams in Honduras.
RPC manages hiring, the employment relationship, payroll, labor obligations, and compliance, while the client retains functional direction of the teams and sets its commercial objectives.
Employees under our administration support field execution through activities such as:
- Product promotion and sales support.
- Merchandising and display at points of sale.
- Inventory tracking and product availability follow-up.
- Sell-out monitoring and product movement.
- Expiration date control and rotation.
- Back-office support for the commercial operation.
The Operation
150+ employees · National coverage
A single employment structure supports teams distributed across Honduras's main cities and different retail formats.
The Result
A sales force that can grow with the market
The model lets the client maintain a nationally distributed commercial presence, adjusting teams and coverage according to each channel's needs.
Instead of individually managing the labor complexity behind a 150+ person workforce, the client has RPC as a single employment administration structure, while retaining control of its strategy, brands, and commercial execution.
The result, in one sentence
An operation that can focus on selling, while RPC takes care of sustaining the people who make that sale possible.
Client-specific details are kept confidential by contractual agreement. Workforce and coverage figures reflect the operation as described by RPC.
